When God commands it, Jesus will be ready for his followers. the people who have died and accepted Christ as their savior will rise and meet up with Jesus to greet us. Then we who are living on this earth will rise and will be with Jesus and the others That will be one glorious day.
Picture all the people who you know that were believers in God but have passed away. Visualize them with their heavenly bodies and then picture us transforming into our heavenly bodies and meeting up with them.
That will be some reunion, graduation, or heavenly party.
I can't wait to see the people again who I have had to say good bye to on this earth. I hope we will be able to thank the people that were in our life for a season yet affected our lives later on in life.
I would love to thank a couple of people who helped change my life. Like Garilyn Burdon who brought me to church when I was a child, and Pastor Mike Smith who preached at that time. Something he said, clicked in my heart when I was a child and I gave my heart to God. I never was able to say thank you. I didn't know how special that would be to me until later in life.
I look forward to seeing all those people again...and I look forward to living with Jesus without any boundaries forever....
"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. " 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NIV
